Swan Earrings - Designed by my daughter
These earrings are designed by my 11 year old daughter. She made the ones on the left, without the pearls. They are made with craft wire. I tried to copy her (in sterling silver and pearls), but the shape of mine didn't turn out as good as hers! Booohoooo!! But I am very very proud of her, that she could come up with some design herself, and made the shape and showed it to me. No help from me till there! I just showed her how to weave. I didn't try to teach her the weaving...I had a migraine...so I told her I'll weave one, you watch, and if you can follow it, do it....or else, I'm sorry, I'm in no mood to teach right now. Well, she saw me do it, and did it exactly like that in the other earring! Did I say I am proud of her? :-) Click on the picture to see it bigger.

She did a great job! I have a swan idea floating around in my head now. Please give her my compliments - those earrings are lovely and graceful.
Wow! - you are right to be proud, that is an amazing achievement for one so young - I reckon she has a good future ahead of her in jewellery design.
Kristin :)
p.s. I like yours too!
That is so great that you have another designer in the house! She did great and I look forward to seeing what other beauties you two make together!
Wow - she's really done a good job with that!
WOW! Your daughter did a terrific job. I think she has a bright future as a jewelry designer! I'm sure she inherited her talent from you, of course! ;-)
Looks like talent runs in the family! Beautiful Earrings!
Talent is genetic, you get it from your kids! Okay, kidding...
I can see she has your finesse. The earrings are so delicate.
See, you can make this your family business.
love
